Body Sense Physiotherapy offer a mixed circuit based class instructed by a Women’s Health Physiotherapist to help you maintain and achieve your fitness goals during your pregnancy and post-natally.

The class is designed for women by Women’s Health Physiotherapists. It is a strength and cardiovascular workout with conscious effort to look after and strengthen the pelvic floor muscles, keep you fit and active during pregnancy and help regain strength and function post-natally.
The class is a circuit base class (60min) including warm up, circuit and mat work, with the use of:

What are the costs?
Each class is $30 or $270 for a block of 10 classes which runs during a school term (you receive 1 class free!).
You can join in mid-term and pre-pay for the remainder of the 10 class block (1 school term).
Unused classes do not roll over to the next school term. Should you be unable to complete the 10-week course, you can claim a refund.
How to join a class?
Before joining the classes, it is essential to have an initial assessment with one of our pelvic health physiotherapists. This will enable you to claim through private health fund and enable us to modify the classes to suit your health and exercise goals.
An assessment of 45mins is required. This involves a pregnancy or postnatal pelvic floor assessment, abdominal separation assessment, and screening of any pelvic or musculoskeletal concerns. This assessment is $120.
If you are a recent (within 3 months) Body Sense Physio patient, with your permission, we will gain information off the treating Physiotherapist for you to attend class. Or if your goals or concerns have changed please book a subsequent (30min) appointment in which, will be $95
The classes are held at a venue called Movement Zone in Joondalup which offers free parking, air-conditioning, large and clean exercise space, toilets and showering facilities.
Do you have creche?
There are no creche facilities. However, if you have a newborn (or baby not crawling yet), we can allow baby to remain in the pram (for safety reasons) for the duration of the class.
