Body Sense Physiotherapy offer a mixed circuit based class instructed by a Women’s Health Physiotherapist to keep you fit and feeling fabulous during your pregnancy and thereafter.

Who is the class for?
What is the class?
The class is designed by Women’s Health Physiotherapists. It is a strength and cardiovascular workout with conscious effort to look after and strengthen the pelvic floor muscles, help regain and maintain strength post natally, in pregnancy and also to prepare mums for the physical demands of motherhood.

What are the costs?
Each class is $30 or $270 for a block of 10 classes which runs during a school term (you receive 1 class free!).
You can join in mid term and pre-pay for the remainder of the 10 class block (1 school term).
Unused classes do not roll over to the next school term. Should you be unable to complete the 10-week course, you can claim a refund.
What you need to know before joining?
Before joining the classes, is is essential to have an initial assessment with one of our pelvic health physiotherapists. During this assessment we screen for any bladder, bowel or musculoskeletal issues. This will enable us to modify the classes to suit your health and exercise goals.
NEW PATIENTS: An assessment of 45mins is required. This involves a Pelvic Floor Muscle (PFM) Assessment, Rectus Abdominus Diastasis (RAD) Assessment, Real Time Ultrasound, Musculoskeletal screen). This assessment is $120
EXISTING PATIENTS: If you are a Body Sense Physio patient or if you are under the treatment of an external physiotherapist, we require a 30min subsequent appointment to check PFM and RAD. This appointment is $95.
The classes are held at a venue called Movement Zone in Joondalup which offers free parking, air-conditioning, large and clean exercise space, toilets and showering facilities.
