Aoife joined Body Sense physiotherapy with a passion for working with both complex musculoskeletal pain disorders as well as sports and dance related injuries. She completed her undergraduate physiotherapy degree at Trinity College Dublin in Ireland in 2013 and went on to do a Clinical Master’s degree in Musculoskeletal physiotherapy at Curtin University, WA.

From a young age Aoife has been an Irish dancer and learnt the value of movement, exercise, fitness and strength on both your physical and mental health. Her experience as a professional dancer with Riverdance allowed her to understand the impact of injury and the importance of getting you back to doing the things you love to do. She works along-side the Pain Science team in Joondalup who provide a holistic approach to helping people manage their pain.

Clinical Interests

Aoife is an accredited strength and conditioning coach and is passionate about teaching people of every age and ability how to manage their pain and improve their physical health and well-being through movement.


Outside of work, Aoife enjoys teaching Irish dancing with the WA Academy of Irish dance, playing Gaelic football, running and developing her strength in the gym.
